It’s a brave new world for me having a direct relationship with people who look at, enjoy and and buy my work. The internet has delivered a whole load of possibilities for meaningful contact for artists with people who appreciate their work.
It’s a new way of doing things, much like blogging which has opened up a whole new world for me and given me the chance to tell the story behind the photos I’ve taken since I fell into photography from art in the late 60s.
So here’s to Kickstarter who seem to be empowering creatives across the world to do their own thing on their own terms. That’s a big deal.
